2-owner 903-mile 1982 Honda MB5
This 1982 MB5 is finished in Black and is powered by a 49cc two-stroke single rated at 7 horsepower and 4 ft-lbs of torque paired with a five-speed transmission. Additional equipment includes oil injection, a kick starter, a Keihin carburetor, CDI ignition, 2.4 gallon fuel tank, a front disc brake, 18″ ComStar alloy wheels, street lighting, dual mirrors, Nippon Seiki instrumentation, a black vinyl solo seat, and both center and side stands.
The suspension consists of a leading-axle telescopic fork and a pair of preload-adjustable shocks mounted to the swingarm. Braking is handled by a front disc and a rear drum. The chrome handlebar carries dual mirrors and frames Nippon Seiki instrumentation consisting of a 75-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 10,500-rpm redline.
This MB5 was sold new in Michigan and remained with the original owner for 20 years until it was sold to its second owner in 2002. It has remained with the second Michigan based owner for the past 23 years and today it is offered with just 903 original miles.
