1996 Honda CBR900RR Fireblade

This 1996 CBR900RR is finished in yellow, purple, teal, and white body work over an aluminum twin-spar frame. It is powered by a 918cc inline-four paired with a six-speed manual transmission and chain drive. Additional equipment includes a black solo seat and passenger pillion, a windscreen, fairing-mounted mirrors, triple disc brakes, four Keihin carburetors, and a Two Brothers Racing slip-on muffler.

Braking is provided by dual discs with four-piston Nissin calipers up front and a disc with a single-piston caliper at the rear. The suspension consists of a Showa cartridge-type front fork and a Pro-Link rear coil over assembly, with adjustments for compression, rebound, and spring preload. Five-spoke alloy wheels measure 16″ up front and 17″ out back and wear Shinko 006 Podium tires showing 2020 date codes.

It was sold new in Ohio on 5/3/1996 and would remain with the original owner for 16 years until it was sold to its second Ohio-based owner on 5/22/2012 with a reported 5,100 miles. It would later spend time in West Virginia and Pennsylvania over the ensuing 9 years before being acquired by a Florida based dealer in July 2021. We acquired it from this dealer on 12/6/2021 with 16,826 miles for our private collection. Today it is offered with 16,830 miles and its original tool kit.
