1969 Honda Z50 Mini Trail
This 1969 Z50 is finished in Candy Blue and Silver with a 49cc two-stroke single paired with a 3-speed semi automatic transmission and chain drive. Features include two-piece 8″ steel wheels, a side stand, a kick starter, an inverted fork, chrome fenders, drum brakes, street lighting, a high-mount exhaust system, twist-lock folding handlebars, and a black vinyl seat.
This Z50 was completely restored to concours condition by Jim Martin at Phoenix Precision Restoration in Scottsdale, Arizona. The restoration was completed in 2021 followed by our acquisition on 3/30/2021 adding it to our private collection. The bike is completely drained of fluids and has been kept on static display in our collection preserving its exacting restoration.
It is being publicly offered for the first time since its restoration to an unimageable level of quality. It’s a piece of jewelry in every sense of the phrase proving this by winning a 1st place award at the 69th annual Detroit Autorama in 2022.
