Vintique Motors is thrilled to present this JDM 2003 Honda Z50 Monkey Limited Edition!
This 2003 Honda Z50 Monkey is a special one-year only Limited-Edition model produced in homage to the 1969 CB750 Sandcast model using the same 1969 offered color of Candy Blue Green. These were only sold in Japan and this example was imported to the U.S. in 2023.
It features a 49cc single cylinder 4-stroke engine features a single overhead camshaft, a Keihin carburetor, and a high-mount exhaust system with a perforated heat shield. Power is sent to the rear wheel through a 4-speed manual transmission and a drive chain. Additional equipment includes an inverted fork, twin progressive shocks, 8″ wheels, a kick starter, a high-mount exhaust system, turn signals, a black solo seat, a side stand, high-mount fenders, and a rear cargo rack.
The 8″ two-piece steel wheels wear 3.50″ IRC Tractor Grip knobby tires. Suspension consists of an inverted telescopic fork as well as twin progressively sprung shocks mounted to the swingarm. Stopping power is provided by front and rear drum brakes.
The chrome-finished twist-lock folding handlebars are equipped with a twist-grip throttle and brake lever on the right and a clutch lever and lighting switches on the left. A 60-km/h speedometer inset into the headlight bucket displays recommended shift points. The five-digit odometer shows 803 kilometers which converts to 498 miles.
