The 450 SX-F Factory Edition is the factory replica of the AMA motocross race bikes, however, they are more than just a replica. These are intended for competition only modeled after Ryan Dungey’s 2017 season Red Bull KTM 450 SX-F that saw him win his 4th and final AMA Supercross championship title as he retired after the final race of the season. These are very limited homologation bikes with only a few hundred produced to meet AMA homologation compliance copies were produced for his final season as he retired as one of the most decorated riders in history finishing with 80 total AMA wins good for 4th all time.
The Factory Edition included a host of upgrades over the standard 450 SX-F which included a 4lb lighter 449cc engine, traction control, launch control, 2 engine maps to manage power delivery, updated adjustable WP AER 48 forks and rear shock, a titanium Akrapovic muffler, Selle Dalla Valle gripper seat, ODI soft half waffle grips, Neken aluminum handlebars, Brembo brakes, wet multi-disc DDS clutch, CNC-machined orange anodized triple clamps, D.I.D. DirtStar rims and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing graphics and you have a recipe for success at any level of racing. These bikes also featured electric start and with a lightweight chromoly steel frame the bike weighed in at just 217lbs enabling the 449cc 4-stroke to give you the best opportunity at hitting the hole shot with 58hp and a linear powerband.
This example is a veteran rider owner bike which was never raced as it was only ridden on rural dirt roads and trail ridden in up north, mostly on the St. Helen trail system. Our owner purchased it from the original owner with 7.6 hours and it currently has 25.3 hours. It has never been dropped and comes with the manuals, paperwork, tools, pen, and stickers.
